Getting Started

New to the FLCC Library?

If you are new to the FLCC Library and can't make it to the main campus, start with our Library Research Tutorial (http://libguides.flcc.edu/research_tutorial). This tutorial will give you an overview of what is available in the Library and how to best get started with your research.

This guide is designed to provide an overview of what is available to online and distance students.  If you are looking for a specific resource or have a specific question, please don't hesitate to contact one of the reference librarians.

Online & Distance Students Library Services

From the FLCC Library Web Pages you are able to:

  • Search for articles, images, video and music in the various databases
  • Search for books in our online Library catalog
  • Request research assistance from Librarians

Please note that some of the library services require a login when off campus. You must login to the databases using your FLCC network username and password.  This login procedure may be different from your Angel login.

STUDENTS: Your computer network username and password is the same as your WebAdvisor account information.

FACULTY AND STAFF: Your network account username and password is the same as your e-mail account information.

Campus Center Students - Ask your campus center staff how to request materials from the FLCC Library. We will send Library items to the campus centers in the event that you aren't able to visit the main campus.

If at anytime you are having difficulty, please contact a librarian. We are here to ensure that you have access to the resources that you need for your studies.
